SMS Terms and Conditions
Last updated: August 22, 2026
These terms apply to the Langer Industrial Service scrap metal price update text message program. By opting in, you agree to the terms below.
What the program sends
Langer Industrial Service sends current non-ferrous scrap buying prices to customers who have asked to receive them. Each message includes a price sheet showing our per-pound buying prices for aluminum, copper, brass, stainless steel, and lead at your local yard.
Messages are sent only when our prices change. We do not send on a fixed schedule, and we do not send messages unrelated to scrap pricing.
How often you’ll hear from us
Message frequency varies with the metals market. In a typical week you can expect a few messages. In a quiet week you may receive none at all.
Cost
We do not charge for this service. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Messages include an image attachment and may count against a multimedia messaging allowance.
How to opt in
Consent is collected verbally, either in person at one of our yards or by phone. We add a number only after the customer has clearly agreed. We do not buy, rent, or otherwise obtain phone numbers from third parties.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message to be removed. You will receive one confirmation message, and nothing after that.
The keywords STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT all work. You can also ask any Langer Industrial Service employee to remove your number, and we will do so.
If you change your mind, reply START to resubscribe.
How to get help
Reply HELP to any message, or call the yard you work with:

Carriers and delivery
Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and is not guaranteed. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may change without notice.
Prices in messages
Prices shown are our buying prices at the time the message was sent and are subject to change without notice as the market moves. They apply to material delivered to the yard shown, properly sorted and free of contamination. Items marked ASK are priced at time of delivery. A price sheet is not a quote or an offer to contract. Please call ahead on large loads.
Your privacy
We do not share or sell your mobile number. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
